Opinions please folks ........ I'm in 2 minds as to whether to go to quite a big school reunion (currently 400+ people). Good news is that it is in a pub

Originally wasn't going to bother but by the joys of faceshit I now see that there are a few characters I wouldn't mind catching up with. Anyone been to one recently & got any thoughts?

I remember when friends reunited started, and there were lots of opportunities for skool reunions. Went to a couple, with mixed feelings. I am still in touch with a core group from school even tho we live hundreds of miles apart , and have the theory, that generally, if you wanted to stay in touch, you would.
However, I must admit, that Fbook is brilliant for staying in touch with long lost mates and family.
My advice would be.
arrive lateish,
have an excuse to leave early,
If you meet any long lost mates, you can always arrange to meet up again!
DONT believe how succesful everyone is.
enjoy seeing those people who were gorgeous at skool looking no better than you!
and those that looked unattractive at skool, looking good now!

Cheers for response handyandy After a bit more research & nosing through the old photos have decided I'll defo be going. Will go with a few people I'm still in contact with so should be a good crack. The organiser has gone to quite an effort I have to say - old class photos, year photos & house photos with most people tagged in them.
I'm assuming that all the facebook people who haven't uploaded their own photos are the fat knackers

Note to self:
Must remember to change my Facebook photo as people will see I am a fat knacker.....
